How to get to Favignana, Egadi Islands

Favignana and the Egadi Islands are located in Western Sicily, at about 7 miles away from Trapani. The nearest airport is Trapani Birgi (Vincenzo Florio), which is mainly served by Ryanair flights. Once in Trapani Birgi, it will take about 20 minutes to reach the seaport where you will be able to take a hydrofoil or ferryboat for Favignana. There is a hydrofoil every 30-40 minutes, check out time tables (italian). The airport is linked to the seaport by bus or taxi.

The other nearest airport is in Palermo, Punta Raisi - Falcone Borsellino. Once there, you may take a bus or taxi and reach Trapani Seaport in a hour. We suggest Segesta Autolinee bus (reliable and cheap service, 1 every hour). Once at Trapani seaport, you will be able to take a hydrofoil or ferryboat for Favignana. There is a hydrofoil every 30-40 minutes, check out timetables (italian).

Trapani is also reachable by Train (Trenitalia). You can also get there by car, following the A29 and A29-dir highway.
